Change is the only thing that is constant in life

Nothing ever stays the same. We are always in a constant state of change and so is the world around us. Each day we grow older and time slips away. We need to understand that change is a part of life and as we understand this we must except change in our lives. Whether in our professional or personal lives we must except, adapt, and change with the world around us. If we don't then we are left behind and forced to wonder about what happened. Thirty years ago you couldn't do half of the things you can do today because technology changed our lives. I'm sure you would also agree that your life has changed within the past five years. The question is has your life changed for the better?

Ask yourself the following questions:

1. What have you done to improve the quality of your life or profession?
2. How have you handled the changes in your life or profession?
3. Have you excepted and embraced these changes or have you found fault with these changes?
4. Are you looking for any reason you can find to resist change?

You must understand that change happens with or without you and that through change we can learn and grow. The time you spend avoiding change is the time you waste resisting what you will eventually need to except. I encourage you to seek out change and improve the quality of your personal and professional life. Change is never easy but it is necessary for growth.
